How we started …

” In 2011, we took a leap of faith to start Yo Dash Foundation. It felt natural for both of us, after supporting many community endeavors over the years. So with our experience in media publications, sports management, corporate marketing we started helping youth develop skills to thrive.

Yo Dash Foundation is incorporated as a non-profit in the State of Florida and registered as charity. “

Disparities

African American boys are a student demographic historically is misunderstood in classrooms. Misbehavior, learning styles and social skills are often misconstrued as problems by educators when in fact, African American boys are simply not receiving the most effective forms of discilpine, lessons – and peer-interaction opportunities.

Our programs develop critical skills for young African American boys to excel.

Soft Skills

To stand out in our competitve world, students are required to hone many skills and abilities which is not a one-day job. These are skills are used to convey ideas and messages in an effective manner. Soft skills are very important in today’s world where management and human resources are given prime focus.
